Handmade Nature of Products

All products sold by Cottage Handicraft are handmade by individual artisans. As a result, slight variations in colour, size, texture, and finish are natural and expected. These variations are hallmarks of authentic handcrafted work and add to the uniqueness of each piece.

Pricing

All prices displayed on the website are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.

• Prices include applicable GST for domestic Indian orders.
• International customers may be subject to import duties and taxes levied by their country's customs authority, which are the buyer's sole responsibility.
• Promotional prices and discounts cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.

Stock Availability

We endeavour to maintain accurate stock information on the website. Given the handmade nature of our products, availability can change rapidly. If an ordered item is out of stock, we will contact you promptly to arrange a refund or an alternative.

By placing an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase products subject to these Terms. Your order is not confirmed until you receive an Order Confirmation email from us.

Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
• UPI payments (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm)
• Net banking from all major Indian banks
• International payments via PayPal and Stripe
• EMI options available on select orders above ₹5,000

Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placement at no charge. After 24 hours, if the order has been dispatched to our artisan partner for fulfilment, cancellation may not be possible. Custom or personalised orders cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.

We ship across India and to over 40 countries worldwide. Delivery timelines vary by product and destination:

• Domestic (India): 5–8 business days standard; 2–3 business days express.
• International: 10–20 business days depending on destination country and customs processing.
• Custom and made-to-order items may require an additional 7–21 days for creation before dispatch.

Free domestic shipping is offered on orders above ₹2,000. Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed; we are not liable for delays caused by courier services, customs, or force majeure events.

Risk of Loss

All orders are insured during transit. In the event of a lost or damaged shipment, please contact us within 48 hours of the expected delivery date.

We want you to be completely satisfied with every purchase. If you are not happy with your order, we offer the following policy:

Eligible Returns

• Items may be returned within 15 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange.
• Items must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging.
• You must provide proof of purchase and clear photographs of the item in its current condition.

Non-Returnable Items

• Custom-made, personalised, or monogrammed items.
• Items marked as "Final Sale" or sold at clearance prices.
• Items that have been used, washed, or damaged after delivery.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days and credited to the original payment method.

All content on this website — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, product descriptions, and software — is the property of Cottage Handicraft or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or exploit any content from this website without our prior written consent. Artisan photographs and craft documentation are particularly protected and may not be used for commercial purposes.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cottage Handicraft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, goodwill, or data, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service.
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
• Unauthorised access to, or use of, your personal information stored on our servers.
• Delays or failures in delivery due to circumstances beyond our control.

Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding the collection and use of your personal information.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
